Brunswick Town and Fort Anderson State Historic Site

Brunswick Town was a Cape Fear River Port and the site of the Stamp Act Rebellion. A Confederate fortification, Fort Anderson was part of the Cape Fear Defense System. The site includes a fourteen minute slide presentation, an exhibit gallery and a gift shop.
Brunswick Town is located a few miles out of Southport on Highway 133.
