Self-Guided Walking Tour ..  Enjoy the history of Southport on a one mile walk
through beautiful Historic Southport.  Brochures are available at the Southport
Visitor's Center at 113 West Moore Street in Southport or at the Southport-Oak
Island Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center at 4841 Long Beach Road.

Oak Island Nature Center & Register Park

This Nature Center overlooking the Intracoastal
Waterway and marsh offers  the Talking Trees
Walking Trail as well as Mineral, Rock & Animal
Exhibits.  The Nature Center and adjacent park
offer restroom facilities and a picnic shelter.

Street on Oak Island
