Oak Island is the largest of the Brunswick County Islands - approximately 
12.5 miles long and about 1 mile across.   The Island includes the towns 
of Oak Island and Caswell Beach.

Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Intra-Coastal Waterway,
Oak Islandis a paradise for boaters, fishermen, and all who love
the beach.  Oak Island offers many beach access points and a public 
boat ramp for access to the Intra-Coastal Waterway.  
                                                                                          

The Oak Island Golf Club offers a challenging 
game of golf in the gorgeous surroundings 
of the ocean and the oak and yaupon trees. 
The course features eighteen holes, a practice 
facility, and a clubhouse overlooking the Atlantic
Ocean.
