Cream powdered sugar and butter. Add vanilla and water. Add flour. Mix well andadd nuts. Chill for several hours. Form small rolls 1 1/2' long. Bake on ungreasedcookie sheet in 300 degree oven for 20 minutes. Roll in 10x powdered sugar whilehot.
Note from Sarah: I always bake 2 or 3 batches of this recipe at the beginning of the Christmas season. These cookies are great with a cup of hot coffee when you return from an exhausting day of shopping !
